Decorating the Common is Coordinated by the Sutton Lions Club
Decorating the Common with Christmas trees shimmering with bright white lights, wrapping the light posts with winter greenery and adding festive red bows to the tree in the gazebo adds that special holiday cheer you can find only in a small New England town
Sponsorship is $50 per tree. Checks can be made out to the Sutton Lions Club and sent to Sutton Lions Club, PO Box 714, Sutton, MA 01590. Trees can be sponsored by individuals, families, neighborhoods, organizations, or businesses. A plaque will be placed on the tree in your name with a special holiday greeting.
Mark your calendar for the lighting of the trees on Saturday, December 7th at 5:30 PM. This is the culmination of the annual Sutton Chain of Lights event. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to hear your Christmas wishes. The Sutton Memorial High School band will provide musical entertainment.
After the tree lighting, visit the First Congregational Church for their famous Lake Ripple Roast Beef Holiday Dinner from 5pm-7pm!
